BOLTON — Board of Health approves building and septic permits; defers beaver work. Chair Chris Rogers, Member Christopher Slade, and Member Wendy Karlon approved nine building permits and four septic or sewer-line permits, including decks, sheds, a new garage, and ice dam repairs across Bolton. Health Agent Bill Brookings reported completion of a Title 5 sewer inspection at 149 Long Hill Road and notified residents at 3 Sargent Road of elevated arsenic levels in their well water.
The board deferred a beaver-maintenance plan renewal, landfill well work, and a septic application for an accessory dwelling unit at 542 Sugar Road. The board will hold monthly meetings through the summer, with the next session scheduled for July 14, 2026.
