Select Board · Meeting of June 18, 2026

BOLTON — Select Board approves regional drug task force participation and senior program changes. Police Chief Donald Murphy requested and received board authorization for Bolton to join the Worcester Drug Task Force, with one officer assigned to coordinate regional drug enforcement efforts, approved 3-0 by Chair Kate Buyuk, Brian Boyle, and Bill Nickles. The board also raised the eligibility age for seniors to use the free trash bag program from 61 to 65, allotting either four rolls of 32-gallon bags or six rolls of 15-gallon bags for FY27.

In other action, the board reduced the Economic Development Committee from 8 to 7 members due to recurring quorum issues, approved liquor license amendments for Bolton Bean and Out of the Woods to include Sunday morning service, and approved the FY27 paving plan covering nine roads.
