Transfer Station Committee · Meeting of July 13, 2026
Bolton Transfer Station Committee adopts physical stickers and education priority. The committee voted 3-0 to approve prior minutes and decided to move forward with physical stickers instead of virtual identification, establishing recycling education as a top priority. Working with DPW Director Randy Heglin and Administrative Assistant Leslie Caisse, the committee approved initiatives including education content for town websites, a local news article, QR-code magnets, and a recycling presentation for Earth Day at the elementary school.
Over two years, the transfer station collected $715 in fines from approximately 16 violations including counterfeit-bag use and after-hours dumping.
