Bolton Transfer Station Committee reviews implementation plan for January 2027 sticker requirement. Committee members reviewed a pricing structure of $0 for tax-assistance recipients, $25 for seniors 65 and older, and $50 for other residents, plus transaction fees. Town Administrator Marie Sobalvarro reported that license plate reader cameras, funded through a pending warrant article, would automatically validate stickers and eliminate manual attendant checks, with installation expected in a couple of months.

The transfer station serves approximately 1,200 residents annually, with 873 additional households using private waste haulers.
