Bolton Public Ways Safety Committee reviews 900-sign inventory, plans infrastructure projects. Committee member Mary Ciummo reported on a productive meeting with Police Chief Murphy, the first chief recruited from outside Bolton. Members approved the previous meeting's minutes and were tasked with reviewing the municipal sign inventory of approximately 900 signs, with priority given to regulatory and speed signs for repair or replacement.
The committee is pursuing another Complete Streets grant and planning a sidewalk project connecting Town Hall to the Houghton Building, with Ciummo directing coordination efforts.
