Planning Board · Meeting of August 26, 2026

Bolton's Planning Board advanced its Forbush Mill rezoning and cleared a routine lot-line change. Members Robert Romer, James Barr, Michael Gore and a member identified as Eric approved, 4-0, an Approval Not Required plan splitting a house lot at 118 South Bolton Road for Paul and Mary Slade. The board pushed review of proposed turf and lighting at Nashoba Regional High School's Green Road field to September 9 after late-filed materials, with member Austin Groner saying he's "in favor of turf fields" because they "let kids play earlier and longer." The board finished cleanup of its Forbush Mill zoning bylaw draft, setting a 20,000-square-foot minimum lot size and 32-foot height cap, and is targeting an October public meeting.

A separate building review committee, chaired by a member identified only as Jim, reported construction estimates of $300 to $600 per square foot while weighing new town office and DPW space.
