Bolton Select Board approved earlier Sunday alcohol sales for two local businesses. The board voted unanimously, 3-0, to let Nashoba Valley Spirits and Bolton Exchange, doing business as Oak and Orchard, begin serving alcohol at 10 a.m. instead of noon on Sundays, both on Wataquadock Hill Road. Pelletier, Nashoba Valley's representative, said the business already serves brunch at 10 a.m. but "keeps getting tougher." The board also appointed Amber Thompson to the Agricultural Commission and released $22,847.59 in PEG funds to Bolton Access Television.
Town Administrator Marie Sobalvarro reported a projected $635,000 snow and ice deficit and a $415,000 town buildings maintenance shortfall. The board voted 2-0, with Nickles recused, to execute a $1,040 FY27 lease with the Bolton Conservation Trust, and unanimously amended its Town Building Task Force charge to swap an Advisory Committee seat for an at-large financial-background member, setting a June 11 appointment meeting.
