Select Board · Meeting of September 10, 2026

Bolton's Select Board gave Daigneault's Liquor until October 8 to produce a signed sale agreement or lose its license for good. Attorney Andrew Upton told the board owner Christopher Green has a deposit check and a draft purchase and sale agreement with a buyer, but no location secured yet; member Bill Nickles said he "certainly wouldn't be inclined to let this run on past October 8th." The board separately approved an all-alcohol upgrade for Bolton Bean Inc.'s Section 12 license at 626 Main Street, released $22,397.37 to Bolton Access Television, and appointed Alan Levin to the Town Building Task Force. Members also voted to push DCAMM for appraisals of two parcels near Forbush Road after resident Rebecca McBreen warned in public comment that "Lancaster has the ability to purchase it off of us" within roughly 180 days.

The board released a Derby Field linkage payment to Parks and Recreation, pending a spending plan, after hearing the $180,000 field irrigation project depends on reviving a dormant well.
