Parks Commission approves summer concert sponsorship program

Bolton Parks and Recreation Commission unanimously approves three-tier sponsorship program for summer concert series. The commission authorized $5,000 for full-series underwriting, four single-concert sponsorships at $1,500 each, and up to 12 monthly event sponsorships at $500; commission member Martha Babbit will refine the document before advertising. The body also approved eight portable benches from youth soccer for Forbush Field and began planning the town's 250th birthday celebration, proposed for August 29.
