Parks Commission Approves Fall Programs, Addresses Field Maintenance

Bolton Parks and Recreation Commission approves new fall programs and coordinates field maintenance. The commission unanimously approved an eight-week fall Mahjong program at $40 per participant with the instructor retaining 80 percent of revenue, a sound bath program for October 2 at $30 per participant with a 15-person maximum, and a fairy festival for September 26, all coordinated by Maria Manyak. The committee also unanimously approved a one-year Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association membership for $150.
The commission will coordinate with the Department of Public Works to address field maintenance for the Nashoba Youth Field Hockey program, which has more than 100 registered children requiring access four days per week.
