Agricultural Commission charts Master Plan implementation strategy

BOLTON — Agricultural Commission aligns with 2035 Master Plan to preserve Bolton farmland. The commission met with Select Board liaison Bill Nickles to coordinate with town boards on agricultural preservation through Chapter 61A and open-space conservation. Kevin Machnik will contact the Planning Board and Assessor's Office; Julia Yang will coordinate with the Conservation Commission; and Amber Thompson will research Chapter 61A regulations.

The commission also discussed potential homestead hobby series topics including livestock keeping, canning, gardening, and beekeeping.
