Bolton Board of Health approves building permits and hears regional health update. The Board approved inground pool and deck replacement permits on February 13 and heard a presentation from Nashoba Associated Boards of Health on emerging public health services, regional operations, and the Mass Public Health Excellence Grant program. Director Jim Garreffi highlighted financial pressures from the loss of Littleton and the end of federal contact tracing funding in June, while Public Health Educator Jenna Montgomery outlined initiatives including expanded town nurse hours, mental health first aid training, grief support, and Narcan distribution.
The Board deferred discussion of a Hudson Transfer Station matter to March 10.
