Select Board Cancels Special Town Meeting

Select Board · Meeting of January 22, 2026

Bolton Select Board cancelled the Special Town Meeting, deferred disinfection decision to May. Town Administrator Marie Sobalvarro confirmed the Public Works Director would fund the project through local improvements. The board also appointed four members to the Transfer Station Committee with staggered three-year terms and delayed a vote on a proposed sticker system for the transfer station, with Chair Kate Buyuk committing to address DPW concerns about enforcement and administrability.

The board unanimously approved a 2 percent cost-of-living increase for non-union, non-seasonal employees in fiscal 2027.
