Planning Board recommends four zoning amendments to Town Meeting

BOLTON — Planning Board recommends four zoning amendments while delaying two for further study. The board voted unanimously to recommend Driveway (Section 250-17), Major Residential Development (Section 250-15), Inclusionary Zoning (Section 250-27), and Land Use (Section 250-12.D) amendments, pending Town Meeting approval. Removed from warrant pending further research: proposed home occupation bylaw changes and a Main Street business district expansion.
Town Planner Pamela Harding noted home occupation amendments were designed to address nuisances but the board wanted to carefully address resident concerns. The board also unanimously supported a letter for the Department of Public Works' $2 million MVP grant application for culvert replacement on Furbush Mill Road.
