Planning Board backs 58 Main Street contractor development

Bolton Planning Board expresses support for Industrial-zone contractor development. Property owner Nicholas Katts and representatives of Apple Tree Services presented a preliminary site plan for two parcels at 58 Main Street with proposed contractor yard and landscaping businesses; the Board requested attention to buffering and rear parking and noted each parcel requires an individual Special Permit application. The Board also advanced its review of Zoning Bylaw amendments addressing Housing Choice requirements (duplexes), newly state-permitted Marijuana Consumption uses, child care standards, and additional criteria for Home Occupations to address nuisance complaints.
