BOLTON — Public Ways Safety Committee rejected a four-way stop request at Wattaquadock Hill Road and Old Bay Road intersection. Member Mary Ciummo presented crash data including a fatal collision in October 2025. After discussion, the committee determined a four-way stop was not warranted and recommended instead intersection warning signs on Wattaquadock Road and flashing stop signs on Old Bay Road.
Chris Strus was assigned to forward the recommendations to the DPW Director and Police Chief. The committee also reviewed road sign inventory issues including obstructed and faded signs and approved sending the list to the DPW Director for action.
