Bolton Conservation Commission approves water softener exemption and well drilling amendment. Chair Brian Berube led the commission in unanimous approval of a residential water softener exemption for 291 Harvard Road and authorized a field amendment for well drilling at ALTA Nashoba Valley, 580 Main Street. The commission also approved a partial certificate of compliance for a culvert replacement at 137 Green Road and unanimously authorized the Conservation Agent to pursue funding for a three-phase forest management plan for Taggart Forestland, targeting invasive species management through fiscal 2027, a controlled burn in fiscal 2028, and community harvest in fiscal 2029.
