Board of Health approves three septic permits with deed restrictions

BOLTON — Board of Health approves septic permits; hears concerns about Hudson transfer station expansion. The board unanimously approved permits for three Wattaquadock Hill Road properties and a Corn Road property with a deed restriction requiring annual homeowner inspection due to a 250-foot sewer line. Chair Chris Rogers informed the board that 51 Teele Road, which failed a Title 5 inspection, must achieve immediate septic compliance before occupancy following a recent renovation.
Hudson residents Jennifer Smith and Alicia Smith presented concerns that BP Trucking's proposed transfer station expansion could increase daily capacity from 350 tons to 850 tons, adding roughly 400 truck trips, and the board agreed to review and discuss with Hudson's Board of Health before March 2.
