Board approves irrigation well for Forbush Mill property

Bolton Board of Health approves irrigation well, detects lead in residential water. The board approved a proposed shallow well at 201 Forbush Mill Road for non-potable agricultural and livestock use. Water quality testing revealed lead contamination in excess of primary drinking water standards at 79 Sampson Road, and the board authorized a corrective action letter to the property owner.

Two other tested wells passed inspection. Board members Christopher Slade and Wendy Karlon unanimously approved four Trash Hauler Licenses and two Swine and Offal licenses.
