Advisory Committee approves eight departmental budgets unanimously

Advisory Committee · Meeting of January 20, 2026

Bolton Advisory Committee approves eight departmental and regional budgets unanimously. Members Bob Guerriero, Greg Myers, Brian Mooney, and Don Cole voted 4-0 to back budgets for Landfill, Board of Health, Nursing, Police Department, Parks and Recreation, Public Safety Building, Dispatchers (regional assessment), and Emergency Management. Parks and Recreation removed swimming lessons spending and added equipment expenses while considering a Memorial Field playground refresh instead of a pickleball capital request.

The Public Safety Building budget reflected substantial increases in electric costs and a new phone system monthly fee. Next meeting is January 27th.
